Understanding Allowances
Allowances are the various benefits and incentives given to a specific set of employees. These allowances can be divided into several broad categories, we have pre-defined some Allowance Types such as:
Service Allowance
Technical Allowance
Living Allowance
Non Practice Allowance
Risk
Meeting & Sitting
Custom Allowance.
How to Add and allowance
From the 'Available Allowances'
Select the required allowance type.
If it is not available, choose 'Custom Allowance'
Once the allowance is chosen select 'Add'
You will be required to Name the allowance.
Choose if the contribution type for this allowance is 'fixed' or a 'percentage'.
Define the Frequency [Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually or with every salary]
Select the currency in which this allowance is allocated in.
Fill out the additional details regarding the allowance conditions and the details required on how this allowance is to be calculated for the payroll.
Once completed, Add the employees eligible for this allowance.
Review and 'Add Allowance'
How do I edit allowance?
To edit allowance, simply select one of the configured allowances.
From the Allowance overview click 'change'
Now you now edit the allowance policies, edit the employees eligible for this allowance.
Once the required changes have been made, click update.
How do I add an allowance?
From the Allowance Tab, click the small addition button next to the search bar.
Now you can proceed with adding an allowance.
Creating a custom Allowance?
From the 'Available Allowances'
Select the 'Custom Allowance' Select 'Add' option.
You will be required to Name the custom allowance.
Choose if the contribution type for this allowance is 'fixed' or a 'percentage'.
Define the Frequency [Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually or with every salary]
Select the currency in which this allowance is allocated in.
Fill out the additional details regarding how this allowance is calculated.
