If you need to include variable figures such as a sales bonus, commission, or reimbursement in the payroll that cannot be calculated through Humanlot, you can manually add earnings or deductions to an already processed payroll in two ways.
One way to enter the figures is directly through the generated payroll and the other way is through a bulk import sheet.
Directly via the generated payroll
If you would like to add a manual earning or deduction directly to the generated payroll you can follow the steps outlined below:
Click "View payroll" and go to the "Run Payroll" tab.
To add an earning choose the "Attendance and Earnings" tab and to add a deduction choose the "Leaves and Deductions Tab.
Select the employee.
Choose the title under which you want to add the value.
Enter the amount.
Click the checkmark button.
Pro Tip:
If you want to customize the title or heading under which the earning or deduction is to be given, such as "sales bonus," please use the bulk import feature.
Through the bulk import sheet
If you would like to add a manual earning or deduction via the bulk import sheet you can follow the steps outlined below:
Click "View Payroll" and locate the button at the top left to access the bulk import sheet.
Download the sheet by clicking on "our template".
Fill in all the necessary information as instructed.
Delete any employees who do not receive these earnings or deductions, including any empty cells on the sheet.
