Attendance Policies
Attendance policies are the guidelines and regulations that determine how employee pay and benefits, deductions are calculated. It is important to create separate policies if any employees have a different agreement in order to accurately compute payroll.
From the Attendance Policy, you'll be able to create unlimited attendance policies.
How to configure an Attendance Policy
Head over to the attendance module and click the add button at the top to create a new policy. Follow these steps:
Choose the Type(s) of check-in you want to enable for this policies
Biometric Device
- All ZKT Bio metric devices are applicable with Humanlot Platform.
- If you would like to integrate the attencance machine, please contact our tech team.
Virtual Check in
- Virtual Check in will be available from the web browser as well as Humanlot mobile location.
- It will be available to checl in from any location.
Not applicable
Not applicable is for employees who does not have to check in/ out.
Geo Location
If you want to opt for the Geo Location Check In, ggo to settings:
- Select the parameter of the worksite
- Create and attendance policy for Geo Location and set the Check In type to not applicable.
- Assign the employees set to Geo Location Check In.
- When adding Shifts, add Geo Location Shift.
Please note that You must turn on your location on your iphone or Android to access this feature. You won't be able to check in if you're outside the reporting areaas your check-in button will be disabled. You must be physically present at the location you are supposed to report. Once you are at the location, please click the check-in button.
Name the policy and add a Description (optional).
Define the rules as per your policies— if any deductions will be made under this particular policy.
Define if and how deductions will be made if an employee leaves the office premises during working hours for personal reasons or outings.
Define if and how deductions will be made if an employee reports late to work.
Define how overtime will be calculated for your employees.
Next Add all Employees who fall into this policy.
Once done review and save.

*It is important to note that an employee can exist only in one policy at a time.
*If any changes are to be made once the policy has been saved, go to the policy and click 'change'.
