Make sure the employee is included in an attendance policy that allows virtual check-in.
Add the employee's shifts in advance using the duty roster. If shifts are not added, the employee's attendance will not be recorded.

Setting up Geolocation Attendance Tracking
To set up geo-location check-in and check-out, follow these steps:
Mark the parameters of the areas where you want to allow geo-location check-in for employees.
Go to Settings > Geolocation.
Click "Add a new geolocation."
Enter the name and address of the building or area.
Toggle to enable full-screen view.
Pin the area on the map where you want to grant geolocation check-in and check-out.
Ensure that you map out a rectangular-shaped area to establish accurate parameters.
Next, assign a geolocation shift for the employees who will be using this method to track their attendance.
Go to the Attendance module > Duty Roster.
Click to create a shift.
Choose Geolocation as the shift type and fill in the details.
