Separating an Employee
Separating an employee involves formally ending their employment relationship within the system. This process records the separation details and initiates any necessary off-boarding and payroll actions.

Steps to Separate an Employee:

  1. Go to People > Team.

  2. Search for the employee using the search bar or filters.

  3. Open the employee profile by clicking their name.

  4. Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Separation.

  5. Complete the required fields:

    • Reason for separation (select from dropdown)

    • Last working date

    • Option to notify employee

    • Option to hide or show activity log to the employee

  6. Off-boarding: choose to either run or skip the off-boarding process.

  7. Dismissal payroll: select the appropriate option from the available choices.

  8. Enter the employee’s personal email address.

  9. (Optional) Attach any relevant documents and add notes regarding the separation.

  10. Click Save to finalize the separation.
